So I found this NFL history game simulator.. shit's dope & I have a cool idea for using it..
It's a program I found in which it has all the classic teams from every NFL franchise & their rosters. It basically does a play by play sim w/ the players from each team, eventually determining the winner. Only downside is the plays aren't very descriptive. They show up similar to what u see on Espn.com play by play during live games.
The idea I had tho is pretty cool.. what I was gonna suggest is that we run a couple matches on here(NC).. & w/ EACH play I can add in descriptive detail what particularly happened & how players/coaches/refs acted & responded to it.. basically using my imagination to give it drama & excitement. I think it would & could be a real fun time burner as well as something out of the norm.
It's something that would take a little time to do.. if I go thru each play & write in descriptions, but it would be fun.. classic/fantasy matchups would be awesome to read w/ the right creativity & imagination.. & I think I could pull this off... or atleast try it. I would include every aspect of a real pro football game.. including weather, injuries, timeouts/tv timeouts, commentary, and much more. I'll add in pictures & maybe vid clips from time to time w/ impact players from those teams.
If u want me to give this a shot, sign in here w/ ur favorite year team. I'll take the first two teams that sign up & write the games for them based on the play by play from the simulator.
If this works & ppl like it.. we can run a playoff style tournament & create a Netcees Super Bowl or something. If it doesn't work... then fuck it, atleast I tried to give us something to do lol
I may need to put alot more thought into this.. but I think it could be done... the only thing I'm concerned w/ at this point is getting the board more involvement in the thread after I post the game's outline.
