Just Watched The Great Gatsby
 

Great film. Very true, nothing has changed between the times tbh except technology, peoples selfish and decrepit habits are still the same.

Surprised it got mixed reviews it was a pleasant experience.

I thought it was boring

The plot I mean... All the other shenanigans they dressed it up with were fun

But I didn't care about any of the characters

Should've read the book then. Probably my favorite one of all time. The plot is pretty amazing in the book.

I never read the book. but I enjoyed the fuck out of the movie. best movie I have seen in a long time. I liked how the talked in a fast pace like they did in the oldie time movies. and I enjoyed the use of the current music to create the mood. if they were playing rag time 20's swing it wouldn't have created the emotion in us like it did for them. I felt like using modern tunes that was a good choice. and

Leonardo Dicaprio is probably top three best actors doing it right now

Yeah Nik I was tossing it up as well, glad I watched it, let me know what you think.

Toby McGuire was good although I reckon it wouldve been better if they cast Leonardo in his role and Brad Pitt as Gatsby or vice versa.
