Anytime I hear Cee-Lo pimping out the 'The Voice' or 'Fuck You' comes on the radio all I can think of
is this
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ttk3IUKfn4U Shit makes me borderline sad. 'Crazy' was okay, though. |
Crazy is the GOAT g
but yo, this also that classic shit, them horns is timeless w/ that beat |
Word. The little cracks and hisses make it that much better too. CeeLo was a legitimate MC back when. His other works with OutKast were just as dope. Never listened to Goodie Mobb much, though.

"Crazy" is great. "Fuck You" is good. "Forget You" is terrible.
|
"Fuck You" is okay. "Forget You" needs no mention.
I said "Crazy" was just okay in the OP due to the dichotomy in my post. It's a great song. I couldn't outright say that and keep in message, though. "Fuck You" would not be popular or seen as creative without "Crazy". |
This thread reeks of faggotism

nah Ceelo just got that sound tbh. his voice is perfect for hooks, this song easily gets bump on pop radios. the guitar riffs scream some pop shit along with the drum kit but ceelo gives it some hip-hop vibe w/ his voice and how he talks throughout it. that shit was destined to be a hit single, along with the songwriting. i give ceelo his props cause he could literally turn every song he wanted into a catchy song if that was what he wanted. dude's gifted http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=21tIS8De4lI ^^^ from American Dad |
You have no personality. I expect nothing less. Your woman hates you.
Not going to devolve into a nik v. cake debate. This is the end of our discourse. I represent the truth. You are a sad old man. |

nah ceelo never sold out
he don't do this shit for sales, niggas like eminem, jigga, t.i., sold out ceelo might never be the best singer live, but son came up w/ catchy jingles just cause that's ceelo tbh he grew as an artist, em ain't ever grow as an artist. dude just started forming gimmicky shit, same w/ jigga(he sold out multiple times in his career knowingly), t.i's last cpl albums are sell out gimmicky shit. pop wise, miley cyrus is a prime example of a sell out. ceelo green is in a boat with calvin harris to me. calvin's been doing his style of music for a while, ceelo had his voice and style for a while and just expanded on the music he made. he's not like the BEP selling out on some shit from: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cnYiQ2FVG8I to http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jGNcsRSz62c to http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IKqV7DB8Iwg to http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OrTyD7rjBpw the progression they did just feels like they were always a sellout to me, and i loved the Elephunk/Monkey Business albums tbh. but real talk, all they've done is whatever is popular. They didn't expand to make music that was heartfelt or just their style, but rather some poppy ass shit. the first 3 songs are cool with me but i they stopped being BEP and went into strictly pop shit now like the 4th song |
Nirvana's 'Unplugged' isn't unplugged at all. There's various instances, but the dead giveaway is the 'The Man Who Sold the World' cover. That's clearly an electric guitar. Or the use of electric/amp effects.
