I thought the TDE one was the best if only because of the beat. ScHoolboy Q and Kendrick Lamar both killed it, and Ab-Soul was strong, too. Isaiah Rashad has that fucking "if I move my arms a lot I'm going to look like a rapper" style. Jay Rock actually started his verse with, "I'm not a lyricist." What the fuck? But then otherwise he was good. Rashad was good, too, when I wasn't watching him move his fucking arms.

Royce da 5'9" had the best verse of anyone on these, though. I mean, he fucking destroyed it once he started digging in. Crooked I just went forever, and you could tell Royce and Joe Budden were kind of standing around going, "Damn, dude, you already did well enough." Joell Ortiz gave this a good start, too. Budden was really uninspired. If he had come harder, Slaughterhouse would have been better than TDE probably even despite the beat disadvantage.

A$AP Mob was A$AP Mob. Twelvy and Ant were good, but Rocky came in and had by far the best verse.

The Real Husbands one was great in its own right. J.B. Smoove is that dude. Nick Cannon killed it with the battle rhymes. The German guy was strong. Duane Martin had probably the best straight-up rap of them all. Kevin Hart and Nelly were disappointing.

I listened to Action Bronson, and he was good, but that beat was shitty and everyone else sucks on that cypher, so I cut it off after about 20 seconds of Starlife Breezy's verse.

I'm listening to the Wax-led one right now. Wax was good in his own nerd style. Then a woman came on and was OK, and that Italian was ... speaking a different language. Rittz didn't do anything for me. Jon Conner sounds like he's playing catch-up with the beat.
