unfortunately, due to an influx of spambots that caused a site-wide crash a few months ago, we require that every new member post a picture of themselves with a short essay on what hip-hop means to them before we fully authenticate them. We understand this could be sensitive and because of this you may feel free to PM your picture and essay to our head administrator, @rocket ninja pirate slayer

Please do this as soon as you can so you can start battling and dropping pieces in the open mic!

Ok I put up a pic and sent the person the essay... When Would I be able to start battling and putting up music and things like that?

as soon as rocket ninja verifies that you sent a picture of yourself as well as the essay. shouldn't be long

@Kscott2, according to our administrator rocket ninja, you have not sent a picture of yourself. We require that your face be relatively visible, and while we would prefer some sort of timestamp for authenticity's sake, but we'll gladly take any clearly individual picture for convenience's sake.
