17 years in - and it just keeps getting better with age. the new 'production'/graphics kinda threw me off at first though.

the premier last week was hilarious.

is there another 'cartoon comedy' that even comes close anymore? surely no one defends simpsons or family guy vs. south park still, right? (all great in their own right, but c'mon).

family guy is lame IMO

south park owns

Simpsons >>> Futurama = South Park > ATHF

the rest don't matter

I think South Park has matured along with it's audience, which is why it's great

South Park is a really intelligent show.

But it's second to The Simpsons. Always and forever.

Theirs a doc on Netflix about south park that could make you see how amazing stressful and quick the show is produced ... its very interesting look on how their topics stay more relevant then any others

I still like family guy most of the time but find myself laughing more at the Cleveland show tbh

Simpsons is goat because it's timeless, South Park is great because it stays relevant. Right now, I'd prefer South Park probably, but seasons 3-8 of Simpsons are unfuckwittable.

the south park vs. simpsons comment is SOLELY based on the content today.

i think @oats hit the nail on the head. Simpsons set the stage, aint even touching it's legacy -- trailblazer. but even SP would admit that -- reminds me of that "The Simpsons Did It!" episode lol!

the SP vs. simpsons debate is still a good one based on content today - SP gets it done for me these days though.

and yea diode, i think they are a strong 2 for 2 this season now lol....

South Park has been substantially better than The Simpsons for a decade.
