I'm thinking of offering Adrian Peterson for LeSean McCoy straight up.

Thoughts.

I took Lesean McCoy with the second overall pick in my money draft. i had him ranked just behind peterson where most experts had him at six or seven.

as a McCoy owner i would not take Peterson for him.

so yes if i was you i would make that trade. especially if it is a PPR. you have to worry about health, McCoy in that high octane offense may break down or fade but Peterson has injury concerns as well.

so to sum it up, YES, make that trade. i think McCoy will finish with the most points among RBs but its not going to be a huge difference as Peterson will most likely finish second imo

This seems like a overreaction move in my opinion.

Now, I myself have almost offered Charles and a 2nd round pick and like a 5th(Dynasty.)

But, I didn't.

I want to know this offense is gonna work for at least a year before I'm all in on it.

Also McCoy is touching the ball a lot. Injury concerns me.

Winners of fantasy are usually the ones who hit that brilliant move or the ones that don't hit the move that bites em in the ass.

I'm not 100 on this being the brilliant one.

So overall.

I'd say no.

PancakeBrah 09-19-2013 11:20 AM

I offered it.

I'm conflicted. I almost hope he declines the trade.

Cashius 09-19-2013 11:29 AM

Only downside is McCoy's more injury prone.

Diode 09-19-2013 11:40 AM

It is never a question of if McCoy will get hurt, but when.

Fart 09-19-2013 12:38 PM

Wait for a while...

...the Nagger 09-19-2013 02:15 PM

yea, the injury thing is why I wouldn't do it

but I can't say much. got mcfadden on my main ff team as we speak starting : )

AP > Shady

Love both and have both on teams, but fact is the Eagles offense is new and thus looks unstoppable. Defenses will adjust and his numbers will decrease. AP is just a terrifying runner and easily the best RB in the league. I might consider doing the deal if you can get something with shady....other than that, nope.

I'm selling high on Desean Jackson too btw.

My man.

I CANCELLED IT. IT WAS A MOMENT OF WEAKNESS

Mike Wrecka 09-19-2013 07:01 PM

it wouldnt have made much of a difference. they will finish with very similiar point totals if both stay healthy. you really are better off sticking with the guy you drafted

someone i am targeting is T Richardson. after a couple of weeks of single digit points owners might be looking to ditch him. he will get hot right around playoffs

Fart 09-19-2013 07:29 PM

AP and Shady are 1 and 2 imo
goodjob at trade aborted

Mike Wrecka 09-19-2013 08:00 PM

i really do think that McCoy has more value in PPR leagues. the guy had over a hundred yards receiving last week thats the kind of dynamic scoring that AP cannot achieve.

AP will score more touchdowns however evening things out but weeks without TDs like last week will hurt more than McCoys non TD weeks

Diode 09-19-2013 09:49 PM

right on cue, down goes mccoy.

i just dropped bryce brown for jason snelling, too.

FUCK.

He hurt his right leg on a great run. Threw his helmet off, sideline reporter said he was pretty emotional walking into the tunnel.
