Line Limit:

• Min. = 10 lines
• Max. = 16 lines
• The max. can be higher if different is agreed upon by both.

Voting:

• Must vote on 4 battles and POST your links in YOUR THREAD
• You will LOSE if you don't post all 4 voting links.
  You will not like the punishment, so just vote.

General Rules:

• 1st person to post can't edit after the 2nd person posts.
• 2nd person to post can't edit after a vote has been made.

• Recycling = DQ.
• Biting = DQ.
• No freeposting, swaying or bitching.
• Unless a picture battle is agreed upon,
  linking to your opponent's picture or posting it
  means you will disqualified.
• A check in isn't mandatory, but it is encouraged.
• If your opponent doesn't check in,
  you still have to post a verse.

Pie came too simple for my tastes, his angles didnt hit anything for me, thorn was kind of funny, but eh.


Blue had wit content and seemed lackadaisical compared to what i've seen before. Clearly levels above in execution.

Ok battle. Wasn't feeling Blue's Pique owed line as I've seen tons of owed/something something K owed wordplays for many years now. That and I thought the word pique was pronounced peek/peak, unless the place is pronounced differently? I'll take your word for it, Canadian. Jimmy in PiE wasn't bad. Could of been set up better, though, with mentioning a condom in connection with Jimmy. Fight Night was pure filler even though it's true. Bones in a cage was dope and a lot of people agree about him being exposed right now. Those people are morons, but still. Serious Jones line is cool nameplay even though Math the one who look bitchmade. Duck brother is lol 'cause that whole situation is retarded as fuck. Internet poem battles being compared to boxing matches with millions of dollars and real life legacy/physical well-being on the line. Ridiculous. PiE had his opener which was one of most played Blue Bayou nameplays ever. I thought closet flowed nicely, not very good though. Syrian was probably his best line even though it wasn't the greatest connection ever. Rose line was weird. House was filler and off multies. Closer was a subpar nameplay attempt. Overall pretty one-sided battle with Blue taking it rather easily. Kind of showed signs of rust, but not really. Props to both.

so yea. pie can rhyme and has the vocab. but his concepts are a bit too simple. like the syria line for example. yes, i get it. assad is crooked. u're saying he's crooked like assad. where's the cleverness in that? but pls don't take this as me hating on u. i'm just tryna help. u should really look at some of the other lines posted here and see how they're making lines sting by being witty & clever with them. u have the basics down. now it's time for some conceptuale expansion. look at the The Ultimate Writer mags in the archives. it's all explained there. applying that could really help u. anyways, bayou took this kinda clearly.
