@Frank Metts @ol dirty bagstard @Genocide

Your kid doesn't recognize you by your hair at this point.

srs.

It's more of an emotional connection at this stage. Relating yourself to the child through warmth and familiarity. And even at a physical recognition level it's more with your face and facial expression. Hair would be superficial.

so even facial hair and shit wouldnt matter? cuz it has me worried lol

PancakeBrah 09-13-2013 10:21 PM

Maybe facial hair, since it could affect the perception of a smile or the machinations of your face when you emote.

To be honest, this isn't scientific, just based off personal experience. I went through long hair stages and buzz cut stages and it didn't affect anything at the present or in the long term. I vaguely remember reading one of those baby books and reading that the most important factor is the sense of care the child associates with you and actual facial expression. Hair seems superfluous.

@Artemus I picked the Pats in my confidence pool. I can prove it with a time stamp. Can I get credit for that when I fill out my Pick 'Ems this week?

Frank Metts 09-13-2013 10:33 PM

At 8 months old babies can see fairly well ... but @PancakeBrah is right its more about sounds and smell basic senses that have dominated far longer then vision ... when my daughter was born my hair was actually pretty long .. soon as she started pulling that shit I went back to the 2-1-skin fade and I always kept my facial hair different .. line beard.. freeway beard. . Soul patch .. fred durst chin. . Goatee ... its forever different and its never bothered her one bit

You'll be ok its probably his tough ass gums not letting the teeth break through

Fart 09-13-2013 10:34 PM

Yea I guess so, pretty much everyone was late with that game anyways

Pick him up and let him touch your hair or lack of ... hold him he will know its you ...

Ghost1 09-13-2013 11:21 PM

Well this is basically the most crucial error u could've possibly made. I mean u may as well just call it a loss. Maybe ull get lucky an have another boy.... But u are now legitimately a stranger in young son of wars eyes forever now. He is clueless as to who u are and more then likely terrified. U should probably move out. Why didn't u pm me b4 u did this...???

Inno 09-14-2013 12:12 AM
