Riddle me this.

This isn't really a riddle, just wanted to quote jim carey.

If you had a choice and you had to make a decision right away on whether to immediately be given your dream job and earn more money than u ever imagined but have to never see any of your family and friends ever again, like no communication at all....or stay as you are with your family and friends, have a decent job with just enough money to get by, with no chance of ever having the dream job and money no matter how hard u worked for the rest of ur life...what would u do?

2tripple0 09-10-2013 04:14 PM

i would fuck me a bitch with no protection

Diode 09-10-2013 04:26 PM

i already chose the latter.

anime_boners 09-10-2013 04:27 PM

latter

Inno 09-10-2013 04:51 PM

Thought about this plenty of times.

Honestly can't answer.

Depends I guess..if me and my wife didn't get along at all then yes.

I cant forget my kids lol

Pent uP 09-10-2013 05:00 PM

second scenario

TYSON 09-10-2013 05:10 PM

The second. I want more for my family so it defeats the purpose IMO.

Witty 09-10-2013 05:32 PM

You guys are so nice.

But I don't think I believe you.

Aesthetic 09-10-2013 05:43 PM

The 2nd.

I can still support my family and make a family.

oats 09-10-2013 06:01 PM

I chose the latter in my life, regretted it, got over it, and now I'm here ready to make another run. Though my "dream job" has since changed.

This is essentially the question of the Iliad - comfortable happiness or greatness.

more money and a fancy job does not equal greatness

oats 09-10-2013 06:19 PM

@Masaii that's debatable. I'd say that greatness can be more than that, but that more money and the satisfaction/fulfillment of a dream job is definitely a form of greatness. But I see what you're saying.

Masaii 09-10-2013 08:14 PM

To me greatness is looking after your family living a humble life doing Gods work. Different drfinitions for different people though

Fig 09-11-2013 01:10 AM

The second one. In a heartbeat

I have a son. you would understand if you were a parent. there is no amount of cash that's worth more than that.

Badweather 09-11-2013 10:31 AM

i have a family i don't really talk to. the friends i have around here aren't loyal or even trustworthy.

i'd go with the dream job, and make new friends, fuck a bitch, and start a family. loopholes mothafuckas!

...the Nagger 09-11-2013 10:44 AM

I would chose the latter

only an orphan would chose the formal

Certain 09-11-2013 11:35 AM

Could I make new friends and start my own family?

Witty 09-11-2013 02:35 PM

Yes.

God and the bible imo is the biggest hoax on humanity to designed to keep people in line. Soo many contradictions and errors in the bible that i cant even fathom taking that ludacris book remotely serious. Lol my rant.

Money dont by happiness?

Tell that to someone broke as fuck struggling to raise a family.

Im good though i got cash so im happy hahahaha
