Transfixed.
I dream

It's a fixation manifesting as asphyxiation.
I don't know if its the grief or humiliation
But it feels like an assassination.

Your hearts cold like zero.
Death of ego.
I thought I was the hero,

but I crumbled like a pyre,
Laid by a pyro that held me in the night
saying you were a Pharoh.
I believed in you....until you set me on fire.

I drew back all my power.
I swear
I'm stronger by the hour.

Not carbon, not a diamond, just dust.
I go where the wind says I must.
I'm free like birds, like bees,
I'm free like love.

Enslaved
I dream.
Of drowning in man made caves.
Digging my way out of a grave.
Of ghosts, just faces with no name.
