last week, while working at my desk job, I heard an unfamiliar sound.
it was Tuesday, so that's odd - usually, my owner is still out of town.
Then, I heard the domicile's door open and swivelled my head quickly around,
but not so quickly as to let my curiosity be found out.

it turned out to be my owner's boyfriend. I chirped a "Thank god",
he was probably here to check if I was getting too hot.
it's a sweltering summer, Abby, but here's where it gets odd...
the next person that walked through the door was dressed like a cop.

I haven't told my owner yet, but she's been back for three days.

Symetrik - lol this was wild and slightly confusing. You said should you tell your owner that his significant other has another love interest but I thought this person was an animal, but you did say they worked at a desk job but also in a cage. So the cage was figurative I'm thinking. And then I'm confused about the setting is this an office or a home? This was a wildly erotic story that comes from your suppressed inner desires lol. This was funny I loled at inconsolable sobbing.

It's poetic. So basically the story is you fell in love with rhyming but it didn't love you back and so you chose to stay in your cage?

I'm voting tie here. Two different takes and neither outshined the other and I cant be tasked to figure it out.

I think Scar’s is about keeping himself away from socialising, relationships, becoming a hermit for whatever reason because it’s easier and less harmful to stick with what you know than it is to try to step outside your comfort zone and try something different. he gives up on chasing his hopes and dreams, preferring the relative safety in mundanity

Sym: I can honestly say I’m not entirely sure what happened in this one, other than maybe Aero’s girl / owner has another man in her life.. who is also cheating on her with a female stripper cop? Aero knows of the treachery but keeps quiet because he’s a cuck LMAO best I can decipher this early on first reads
