Pancake / fantasy prowess?

Cake (or others with fantasy skillz) -- you play in any 14 team leagues?

they got 14 teams in my last cash league, so i need to think strong sleepers since the waiver's gonna be thinner than christian bale in the machinist -- any real real deep flyers?

on the bright side --- i showed up 10 minutes late and had A.P. on my board... autodraft ftw lol...

Cake - any round 6 WRs? (between round 5-6 in this big ass league)?

so far i got: AP, Frank Gore, and Lacy

Meth 09-03-2013 07:26 PM

Kenbrell Thompkins

Draft him

Fart 09-03-2013 07:33 PM

got'em

waited several rounds, and accidentally autodrafted when i was takin a piss

probably took him earlier than needed but i'll take it

Meth 09-03-2013 08:08 PM

Good boy.

You've done well.

Fart 09-03-2013 08:14 PM

also why did u get gore and lacey so early?
this is your first year isnt it

Meth 09-03-2013 08:19 PM

Based on where rankings have them in a 14 person draft he didnt really get them early.

However.

I wouldn't touch either where you took them, personally.

Fart 09-03-2013 08:23 PM

if he auto picked AP he probably has the first 3 picks in every round
assuming it's not snake, those are bad picks imo
but it still all depends on rules, who picked who, all that. in short who fuckin knows

Meth 09-03-2013 08:24 PM

No way it wouldn't be snake.

An I agree they are bad picks.

I'm just saying according to rankings.

He drafted where they are going based in their ADP.

Mike Wrecka 09-03-2013 08:44 PM

stephen hill? really ? really? if your investing anything in the Jets offense you are seriously fucked. i guess as a bye week WR3 he might be servicable. but by the time bye weeks start you will have much better players emerging on the waiver wire

Ruben Randle > Hill

at least Randle is a Nicks or Cruz injury away from being an absolute mega superstar

Fart 09-03-2013 08:45 PM

mike doesn't know anything obv
stephen hill's a stud.

namix 09-03-2013 08:46 PM

no it IS snake

and ya'll are effing nuts if you think those are bad picks in a 14 person league

if you can get 3 starting RBs in a 14 person league = golden.

I don't like gore much but he's still a top 20 RB lol

Fart 09-03-2013 08:51 PM

again idk who picked who before you picked. so they might of been the best available....but if there was a #1 WR available, bad picks

namix 09-03-2013 08:52 PM

slim pickings in a 14 person league, but i still like the depth enough in this league -- since the 6th round has 7th round depth -- and the 12th has backup kickers lol

RB: Perterson, Gore, Lacy, Vereen
WR: Garcon, T. Smith, K. Thompkins, J. Gordon,
QB: Vick
TE: Gresham, Bennett
DEF: Cardinals
K: TBD

Room for one more flyer -- hurry!

Mike Wrecka 09-03-2013 08:53 PM

anyone that Sanchez is throwing to is not a stud buddy

they may have the worst offense in football, you realize that right

are you saying bad picks if there were "any" #1 WRs left?

if you mean top tier as in calvin or AJ or dez --- naw they were gone.

if you mean "any" #1 wr though, myself and math will humbly disagree with you :)

first time i've applied my day job to something outside of work, and:
1. created a simple scatter plot in excel
2. took the linear average
3. looked at the slope to evaluate diminished return by position by ranking based on multiple rank distributions (to remove the outliers in some scenarios when looking at the slope -- like AP and Calvin)

but word -- im not comin on here desperate, im tryna game the system and outplay their selections based on value picks to make cash

but props to pancake wherever you are lol.. i know you do get it, asshole or not ;)

Fart 09-03-2013 09:10 PM

lol at using math to make picks... is that like counting cards or something?
i rest my case looking at your wr's.

Meth 09-03-2013 09:23 PM

Thompkins and Gordon will end the season as your 1 and 2.

And Stephen Hill is a stud.

i assume you are predicting Garcon to get hurt ?

cause that guy is the first second and third recieving option in a admittedly very run heavy offense

if healthy he is the clear WR1 must start every week material for namix's team
