I wouldn't consider either of us amateurs. It isn't difficult to find a rapper who some folks deem as professional, that can easily be identified as having amateurish qualities. I think we both are established writers, and as long as you have that characteristic, then you can say you take your music seriously and that alone makes you a professional at what you do. Props.
