DA RULES (SZN 10)
-Verses must be posted by the due date given, 24 hour extensions will be given if asked for before the original due date has passed or if the opponent allows it.
-Competitors must relate their verses to the topic given. -If voting is tied, a winner is declared by 2 clear votes. i.e. 6-4, 7-5. If there aren't enough voters for this then majority wins. A KO will be declared if a battler goes up 3-0, and a TKO if they go up 4-1. - You are REQUIRED to vote on at least half the battles for the week, I understand we’re busy but we’ve all got time to vote. Votes do not have to be a “bar by bar breakdown’ or super extensive but please don’t vote like Hush, either. Give us solid reasoning why you leaned towards voting one way or the other. Remember this league will only run as smoothly as we make it, you’ve got to contribute on both fronts or we will fail. - Maximum line count is capped at 60 there will be no going beyond that whether agreed upon or not. If you don’t drop a minimum of 10 lines or breach your maximum of 60, you are DQ’d - There is no editing verses after both battlers have dropped. They are set in stone the moment the second writer drops his verse. -No feeding, biting or recycling old verses. |
Question. What was your thinking about adding both of these rules:
-Competitors must stick to the line limit unless both agree to go over. vs - Maximum line count is capped at 60 there will be no going beyond that whether agreed upon or not. If you don’t drop a minimum of 10 lines or breach your maximum of 60, you are DQ’d I suggest removing the first rule highlighted, lol. Good stuff, fair rules. Stick to them tho, no leniency |

Yeah good eye. These are actually revised rules from last season so that first one was Inno’s rule and I added the cap later. I took the first one out so there’ll be no confusion |
Check in rule never works.

I prefer this rule personally. Sometimes, you gotta go over 60 to write the perfect piece. Nah mean? Think a couple of us proved that this week. |
