1. Jokes aside, I don’t care if barc wrote any of the verse or how many bars he wrote. As you quoted, I’ve been clear about this. I just want a verse from each team and your team provided that.

2. I’m not going to disqualify someone over an obvious troll. It was literally broadcasted in the discord that blue was going to post a verse full of bars generated by the barcotic bot as a joke. If you can’t tell the difference between that and someone stealing bars a genuinely trying to pass them off as their own, then I really question whether you’re mentally fit to be in possession of multiple children. All that trolling shit was deleted and what we have left is two, valid verses from each team.

3. I’m annoyed by blue/zuch asking for an extension. But none of this is new or unanticipated behavior. I could’ve told you how this entire battle would’ve played out a week ago, from Zuch/Blue asking for the extension, you calling for a DQ over any reason you can get, and you deleting your verse in the process. You’re fucking broken records that still repeat the same behaviors you exhibited when you were 14 year old snot nosed kids with acne and as now, as grown adults in your mid 30s you still haven’t matured an ounce.

at the end of the day my #1 priority is and has always been to make these battles happen. That’s it. I’ve never liked Seth and his swaying antics in round 1 were more than enough cause for a DQ, but I let the battle go on because making these battles happen is my job.

This tournament has had 28 people involved and requires them to be able to collaborate with each other. There is inevitably going to be some bullshit because there’s always some bullshit with y’all. But guess what?

Round 1 there wasn’t a single noshow. There wasn’t a single DQ. There wasn’t a single battle that got closed without a decisive winner.

I’m not here for the politics or the drama, I’m here to see who the best writers are. I know you’re perfectly content with your extensive history of being a paper champ and winning through PM’s and disqualifications because your writing skills alone aren’t enough to win your battles or topical battles for you, but that’s not gonna fly here.

This is what you signed up to the site for. Battles. Battles where 2 people write their verses and the person who wins is the person who wrote the better verse. From that standpoint, this is the most successful tournament NC has seen in 5+ years. Not one noshow, not one DQ. Just battles. And a LOT of battles, even in round 1, have already been incredibly competitive and close.

You stated that if the shoe was on the other foot that you wouldn’t be granted the extension, that’s horseshit. Apart from the fact that I doubt Blue/Zuch are so desperate for a win that they would leap at any opportunity to get an unearned win that they can, I would’ve intervened and given you 24 hours and no more than 24 hours. I gave extensions to multiple teams in round 1, and this isn't the only battle that I gave an extension to in round 2. NC has developed an admittedly annoying, standard for itself where extensions are the norm, not the exception. If I didn't grant any extensions, we already would've had about 6 noshows. My goal is to make these battles happen, and that goal is the same no matter who’s involved in the battles.

Zuch had mentioned wanting a 48 hour extension and I told him they would be considered a noshow if they didn’t submit a valid verse by yesterday. They submitted a valid verse yesterday. End of story.

We followed the rules and keyed a verse to post on time. They didn’t. You can’t just pick and choose when you like your rules to apply as it suits, your Discord buddies didn’t post on time and that’s all there really is to this, they lose. You know what to expect from us, so show up on time and post your verse. Or lose. As per the rules. It’s pretty simple.

The rules don't say "No extensions granted for any reason whatsoever" they say "Don't ask for extensions". The fact that multiple extensions were granted in round 1, and the fact that Sharp/Mac were also granted an extension in round 2, really causes your "I'm a clueless idiot who had no idea" act to fall apart.

You dropped your verse early. You were free to make any modifications or adjustments between the time you posted a verse and until your opponents dropped, which I believe was an additional 72 hours to make any changes you wanted.

To answer the question I normally ignore the battle until 20 mins before the deadline, ask for an ext, ignore it again until 20 mins before the ext deadline and then no show.

Sometimes I write a rushed verse.

Lars some of us have a lot going on in life and don’t have the time to sit down and write rap verses at 35 years old.

Also to answer your question, Blue and I wrote our verse together, in less than 15 minutes yesterday morning.


EDIT: I can provide step by step screenshots of the entire process of writing said verse from Facebook messenger with time stamps. Verse was written in total, between 1:43 and 1:59 pm yesterday and was sent to Answer. Just lemme know.
