cool idea but the wording at the end throws it off. It doesn't read as him receiving a card which would be the case here. I also don't like that you left him alive in the scenario where not just you, but your entire family, comes with the gift of (I assume) heavy artillery.

After Daves verse, I was like, man what a disappointing showing. No way he wins comfortably if he even pulls it off. You can tell he let it slide with throwing away bars on generic statements with a rhyme to get his verse done. Then I saw Bleaks opener and was like "damn, the boys got this. what an upset". But the only upset here was reading him go completely off the cliff and never hitting that level of concept the entire rest of his verse.

All around an okay, but quite boring read. Thankfully it was a short bar limit.

Overall I feel like this is closer than the voting shows. Bleak was a bit more consistent imo but he didn’t have anything that resonated with me. Bleak house was lotb by far and tipped the scales in Dave’s favor. mcl get well soon and Italian weapons are all honorable mentions.

I think bleak could’ve edged this with just an “ok” bar in place of the magazine bar because that concept is crazy outdated and he didn’t have any kind of new spin on it
