Is there a rule that if an opponent MISSES THE DEADLINE THEY’VE ALREADY EXTENDED that the guy who showed up on time has to accept their late submission
or is it simply a DQ at that point?
Mentioning no names, just posing a somewhat rhetorical question here. Let’s say Faggot 1 sneakily requests an extension, via PM to the mod, without Player 2 being made aware. Perfectly above board (if a little shady) nonetheless. Player 2 keystyles to ensure he shows on time. Faggot 1 then takes the extension, misses the extended deadline, and attempts to post late but is seemingly angered that Player 2 refuses his already late submission. there are no winners in this scenario in my mind (apart from Player 2 who takes the W by no show) which loser was more wrong and why? |
I won fair and square, that’s my story and I’m sticking to it

I think I may have gotten a loss due to the same thing a while back. I was 5 hours late because it used a different time zone I was used to. Happens, it's within the rules. Don't have to post as close to the deadline as humanly possible either

Up to the battler that showed, typically.
I always give the battler an opportunity to take the battle or go for the easy win - but that decision is theirs. But also have DQ’d for not making deadline regardless of what the battler that show wanted. Depends on how I wrote up the league rules - determined how it was enforced. |
Lol

I always though the punctual one had final decision
