Gauging Interest in a topical league?
 

Would probably start it up in a couple of weeks (pending on when Black August is able to end)

My only question is who would be interested to participate and in what capacity would you like to see a league?

I told myself I would become a topical champion

Honestly beside the AOWL being the more established of the two, it’s pretty much the same concept

Aowl was a regular league with normal line lengths like 50/60 line limits

The gwl was suppose to be a shorter format that would fit the OM BUT it ended up morphing into a league

My vote is for AOWL 2020. New 'Champed' accomplishments at stake for those who participated and champed GWL. Also, the longer line limit really appeals to me.

I'll try and read and offer feedback for some verses.

I love leagues! Makes it possible to take 1-2 weeks off when shit is happening, and plan to make time for play-offs. Tourneys are make or break, and if you meet a tough opponent the first round it can take several weeks or months until the next topical thing turns up. During times of tourneys people may be posting in the OM but since people are focused on the tourney feed can be lacking cus focus is on acing each verse for the tourney instead. There's just more community involvement in a league imho and there's been some time since the last one
