This was a good battle... Both are good writer's and displayed their wit. But I think J Fresh's verse was just too general for my liking. His punchlines could've applied to anyone; And although everybody has these types of lines, I felt Orc mixed and matched his a little better. His verse seem tailored to the opponent/league/current events, etc... J's seemed... thrown at the wall and see what sticks... If that makes sense. Very entertaining though.

Orc had an awesome verse the only low points I really saw here were Argan oil and out of the mud which were just a cut below the other stuff you had here. It was a super consistent verse and landed some good punches

Jayson has jaw lock, one finger, private drill etc you had some bangers man but like Universe said it was all really general. A couple a verse are good but there was nothing here that attacked Orc personally. This was real Grindtime esque which isn’t bad but text battling is a different beast imo still good verse

Orc just hit different to me, that’s just an opinion I Can see a case for either or

I got orc here with just slightly better overall verse. Good showing from both. Jayson got better as he went on for me but some concepts were a bit underwhelming

This was another solid battle. Up there with Blue and Dave as the best of the week. I thought both were well written and concisely worded, with solid concepts. There were a few misses for me, but some really solid hits too. This was pretty much a tie for me, until I hit the second half of Jaysonfresh's verse.. The wedding registry line made me lol, and I dug the concepts of the next two "crawl" punches a lot (although I think they could have been executed a little bit better so you didn't use that word twice in succession). Orc was consistently solid, but I think Jayson barely took it. Could have gone either way though... and from a style perspective, I think both of these guys are two of the best I've seen on present-day NC. Good stuff.

First time reading Fresh I think, I've seen his name around but I haven't actually dug in - you're dope man. I enjoyed the hell out of this verse, mud pits was hilarious.

Orc gets it with one more quotable here, this was up there as one of the best battles of the week to me though. Right up there with Blue and Dave.
