Tips on properly drying an early bloomer? (Greenery)

So I've got each stem hanging in the basement, upside down on string. Humidifier on, 3 feet from them

How many days do I wait before trimming buds, putting them in jars to cure, etc

How long do I wait in the jars?
Is there anything I'm missing?

Bomb Bard 08-11-2020 08:29 AM

I usually wait till the stem snaps when you bend it. Trim them and jar them. Burp jars twice a day for like 4-6 weeks then once a day for another 5 weeks or so.

Try to keep them in the dark as much as possible. But that’s my thing

Ya burp the jar. Give a shake not a crazy shake but enough to keep them from sticking

@Barcotic you got any tips for this guy?

Yea bomb bard covered it. The nugs should be relatively dry to the touch and the smaller stems should snap, and not bend. Then Mason jar it, and open the lids to burp em, basically letting the humid air that builds up in the jar out.

If it smells like grass/homegrown real bad it doesn't hurt to take them out of the jar for like an hour and then rejar them. They mightve been too wet.

But word. Basically keep em jarred til it smells like dank. The shit that makes it smell like hay/grass is chlorophyll breaking down, the drying and curing process is the point of getting rid of it or whatever
