Rules

Due Dates:
• Verses are due THURSDAY by 11:59 PM PST.
• Voting ends MONDAY ideally
• Battles that lack votes may close later.
• One sided battles may get closed early.
• Extensions are 24 hours, anything longer is a DQ and/or Double DQ
• To avoid issues, you are encouraged to PM me your verse in advance

Line Limit:
• Min. = 12 lines
• Max. = 20 lines
• The max. can be higher if different is agreed upon by both.

Voting:
• I do not have time to count links, and I know nobody wants to post them because it’s tedious. Do your part and vote or I’m making house calls.

General Rules:
• 1st person to post can't edit after the 2nd person posts.
• 2nd person to post can't edit after a vote has been made.
• Feeding = DQ.
• Recycling = DQ.
• Biting = DQ.
• No freeposting, swaying or bitching.
• Unless a picture battle is agreed upon,
linking to your opponent's picture or posting it
means you will disqualified.
• A check in isn't mandatory, but it is encouraged.
• If your opponent doesn't check in,
you still have to post a verse.
• Competitors should agree on a line limit in their check in.
• If no line limit is agreed on, then the 2nd person to post
must match the 1st person's line amount, and can’t post more

Rikishi, ends meet and mic drop vs water ear, casket and gettysburg. I think FGR had two contenders for lotb and res had one with casket, but FGR also had a lot of misses like niser which was just too basic and predictable and arson bar also. Even going bar for bar I got this 3-3 lol. I’m gonna vote FGR just for having two lotb contenders

fairly whimsically set of bars from him which made this painfully close.

FGR for the slight edge.

it was close

Res had the best and worst lines. FGR was consistent but no WOW factor sadly. Some old references from both so if I put that aside Res old line was fresher. Never saw nothing like it. Rikisihi ass is just too simple. Elevator line was creative, and so was the 4 scores.

I've got Resin here w/ the standouts. FGR was consistent w/ some ok stuff but a cpl bland bars. The casket line res had was a miss & both read rushed. Got Res by originality n 1 more hit

Rikishi is decent enough
Blue seemed super basic to me
Arson/our son is decent wp but in this context none of it makes sense to me. Needed a more clear setup if this was going the direction I think it was.
Carcass was your best bet bar tbh flames

Not a great battle.

FGR was alright. Some better wording than usual. Seen Nicer done about 17 years ago on UPN though.


Resin was hit and miss but had some good stuff that actually hit so I’m going his way.
