The Forbidden Grounds : CBL 1-2 Punch Season l - Sign Ups! (Sign in/Sign out)
 

What's up everyone,

Im hosting an all new, “1-2 Punch” battle league that will be running all year long. In this league, you are instructed to post two (2) of your strongest lines (1 bar) for each bout that you will face your opponents in.

for example :

“.. he's buggin, this dude making up stories,
and the screen showing me sharp creating it for me/(as in, sharp tv screen/his name.. lol)” - Corleone (This was a bar taken out of my verse for example in my recent text battle this past month with owner of netcees.com named, "Sharp".)


That was an exact example of how your "1-2 punches" are supposed to look, upon submission for each bout. Every 6 months throughout the year, a champ will be crowned. Champion of the league will win a $200.00 cash prize.

The first 20 emcees who sign up will be able to participate in this league, as I am getting this going with the first 20 emcees who sign up. Meaning, up to any number of people are welcomed to sign up for this league all year long, as well. Their will be a, "Sign in/Sign Out" thread for display for members and guest to sign up at or you can just simply enroll yourself into the league by replying to this thread. Also, which is also pretty nifty, for those with busy schedules or family emergencies, you are more than welcomed to sign in and out of the league as frequently needed. Make sure you that you state your reason for not being able to participate in the league when you sign out and you will be given a second to third and more of chances to sign back into the league at your earliest convenience.

I have a query if I may — do the two lines have to rhyme? I’m a smidgeon confused as the “bar” you used in the template above doesn’t seem to rhyme? Is this competition centred around two competitors writing non-rhyming insults to each other? I’m genuinely intrigued. This opens up a lot more avenues and allows creativity to flourish exponentially. I mean, who really raps anyway, right? We’re all white guys here.
