Warehouse

Anyone work in one before? First day

Aero 06-08-2020 03:12 PM

I have before. Should be easy peezy tbh. As long as you can lift and carry.

Adverse 06-08-2020 06:18 PM

Yeah, you’ll get used to it it may be tough starting out but you’ll be alright in the long run. Take care and don’t over do it.

Hush 06-08-2020 06:25 PM

Agreed

~RustyGunZ~ 06-08-2020 09:52 PM

get one of those belts for your back

good to hear you got a job

Amen 06-08-2020 10:10 PM

Back belts are actually no good.

Restrict your natural movement causing further damage if the lower back is strained.

Warehouse jobs are easy and require no thought what so ever. Majority are stepping stones to advance you in your career should you choose to move up with in the company which hopefully is a goal of yours.

What type of warehousing job is it? Distribution, receiving/loading dock or manufacturing?

Blue Bayou 06-08-2020 10:32 PM

For objects over 30 pounds, you should ask a coworker to assist you, never lift a box above your shoulders, and if you feel like you may be experiencing some kind of pain or mild discomfort, be sure to fill out an accident report detailing the cause of your bitchassness

Geno 06-08-2020 11:11 PM
