Rules

Due Dates:
• Verses are due Saturday by 11:59 PM PST.
• Voting ends MONDAY ideally
• Battles that lack votes may close later.
• One sided battles may get closed early.
• Extensions are 24 hours, anything longer is a DQ and/or Double DQ
• To avoid issues, you are encouraged to PM me your verse in advance

Line Limit:
• Min. = 10 lines
• Max. = 20 lines
• The max. can be higher if different is agreed upon by both.

Voting:
• I do not have time to count links, and I know nobody wants to post them because it’s tedious. Do your part and vote or I’m making house calls.

General Rules:
• 1st person to post can't edit after the 2nd person posts.
• 2nd person to post can't edit after a vote has been made.
• Feeding = DQ.
• Recycling = DQ.
• Biting = DQ.
• No freeposting, swaying or bitching.
• Unless a picture battle is agreed upon,
linking to your opponent's picture or posting it
means you will disqualified.
• A check in isn't mandatory, but it is encouraged.
• If your opponent doesn't check in,
you still have to post a verse.
• Competitors should agree on a line limit in their check in.
• If no line limit is agreed on, then the 2nd person to post
must match the 1st person's line amount, and can’t post more lines

This was kinda close, actually. Neither stood out all that much.. Mac’s was pretty simplistic (sense/cents, etc) and the wording was really basic. FGR tried too hard to force wordplay/pun punches (Macklemore isn’t pronounced “Mack’ll more), which is a style I personally can’t stand, and it made it fairly awkward to read. But, at the end of the day, FGR had a handful of better concepts. He won this.

^ This bar had me laughing for some reason, and I think it may have been your best, although, it wasn't necessarily quotable.

v - FGR. Based off of his two bars that I quoted, and the fact that he was trying to attempt fresher things, it seemed to give him the win. He had some cool wordplays and for the punches that didn't land, it was just about remaining consistent throughout. For Mac, I'd work on wording and bringing newer ideas to the table, because that was one thing that separated you two talent wise. All the punches really lacked intensity or aggression to combat the opponent
