Rules

Due Dates:
• Verses are due FRIDAY by 11:59 PM PST.
• Voting ends MONDAY ideally
• Battles that lack votes may close later.
• One sided battles may get closed early.
• Extensions are 24 hours, anything longer is a DQ and/or Double DQ
• To avoid issues, you are encouraged to PM me your verse in advance

Line Limit:
• Min. = 10 lines
• Max. = 20 lines
• The max. can be higher if different is agreed upon by both.

Voting:
• I do not have time to count links, and I know nobody wants to post them because it’s tedious. Do your part and vote or I’m making house calls.

General Rules:
• 1st person to post can't edit after the 2nd person posts.
• 2nd person to post can't edit after a vote has been made.
• Feeding = DQ.
• Recycling = DQ.
• Biting = DQ.
• No freeposting, swaying or bitching.
• Unless a picture battle is agreed upon,
linking to your opponent's picture or posting it
means you will disqualified.
• A check in isn't mandatory, but it is encouraged.
• If your opponent doesn't check in,
you still have to post a verse.
• Competitors should agree on a line limit in their check in.
• If no line limit is agreed on, then the 2nd person to post
must match the 1st person's line amount, and can’t post more lines

Gangsign is ok, a bit vague to me
Dump the mac was kinda simple

Coops mag was ok. Funny and current diss of a diss at both
Notepad was ok with the fan/stan flip

Dr. Strange bar was ok. Kinda wordy and weak
Last dish worded weird didnt pull off the stars/wish flip
Typewriter idk not getring
Summer classic was weak
Corpse/bosses dont rhyme for me weak diss too.

wording could be harsher, ive seen the stars in eyes concept done a lot but make a wish is an ok angle on it, just think the execution is lacking

nah not feeling this, and ending a punch with a question mark is usually going to take some of the sting out of it. I'm not saying there aren't some times and places where it may be appropriate, but that's something you should probably try to avoid until you're more advanced, with all due disrespect.


overall, gang signs was lotb. I think snitching had better wording and execution throughout

v - snitch. Both didn't drop anything of note for me, outside of the gang sign bar, which was a witty observation. It was okay and worded enough to get the point across, but the bars between you two were not too good. Mac's punches and wording were not interesting, while the concepts lacked any sort of wit or imaginative items for me to see as a quotable. Snitch was in the same sort of category, dropping the opener, but then falling off right after and not really delivering anything else of interest. I would suggest both go read up on older NBL battles and sift through the archives to get more into how to connect punches at a better rate, but the effort of showing is appreciated.
