Rules

Due Dates:
• Verses are due FRIDAY by 11:59 PM PST.
• Voting ends MONDAY ideally
• Battles that lack votes may close later.
• One sided battles may get closed early.
• Extensions are 24 hours, anything longer is a DQ and/or Double DQ
• To avoid issues, you are encouraged to PM me your verse in advance

Line Limit:
• Min. = 10 lines
• Max. = 20 lines
• The max. can be higher if different is agreed upon by both.

Voting:
• I do not have time to count links, and I know nobody wants to post them because it’s tedious. Do your part and vote or I’m making house calls.

General Rules:
• 1st person to post can't edit after the 2nd person posts.
• 2nd person to post can't edit after a vote has been made.
• Feeding = DQ.
• Recycling = DQ.
• Biting = DQ.
• No freeposting, swaying or bitching.
• Unless a picture battle is agreed upon,
linking to your opponent's picture or posting it
means you will disqualified.
• A check in isn't mandatory, but it is encouraged.
• If your opponent doesn't check in,
you still have to post a verse.
• Competitors should agree on a line limit in their check in.

A non-rhyming opener made me not want to read the rest. 3 yo momma jokes in a row killed any momentum. I will say, you do a good job of tying your set ups to your punches, and the verse as a whole flows. Your best bar was probably bytes, if the set up was better. (I'm assuming its a fat joke)

Tying in monopoly somehow in your setup would've made this better. The fact one can replace 'monopoly 'with other board games shows that it wasn't creative enough.


This verse would be better for an audio battle or a freestyle.

The bars like:

don't belong in a text battle. They can be creative, but unless done perfectly, lack sting.

Speaking of lacking sting..... when you boil it down, and look at just your punchlines, only 2/8 even diss him directly. That needs to be 8/8.

Slect took this easily for me.
First 3 bars were cool and then started to fall off imo.
Overall he was more creative and came harder than Mac.

I wasn’t really feeling anything from Mac. Elementary insults made everything feel weak. Needed more creativity

Macs verse didn't hit for me....Than you/safe word didn't rhyme.... the rest of it was lacking sting on any punch..no hate buddy ...the set up and wording was cool but it was a miss in the end Everytime.. a bytes line? Really? This shit lacked sting..closer was alright..but I would call it too creative..like I said no hate just rework ur bars to hit harder . .. slechts opener was selfhype n didn't hit Mac.... The rest was decent st best... I've seen u drop hard punches in punch league on rb..I'm not sure what this is... It wasn't bad.. but just didn't hit like I've seen from u in the past... In the end tho your punches still connected better than Macs...packed more sting...

Im not gonna do a massive breakdown on this one since most of my comments would probably just be a repetition of what was said already and I think this is a comfortable W for slecht that doesn't need a tremendous amount of detail

From Mac, "you look like a skunk fucked a mad cow and gave birth to your mother" made me lol a bit, but this one, and many of your other bars were overtly simple and a few of the ones you had that did incorporate a punch e.g. dropping heat and 69 are pretty played out, so my primary suggestion is making sure every bar in your verse is more like those, but try to be more outside of the box with your thinking. A lot of the first ideas that come to your mind will often be things everyone has done at some point

from slecht, he had good concepts in just about every bar, just needs to improve on overall execution. the gronk & brady bar was probably lotb for me though someone else did do a similar bar in a diff battle this week. Make up your mind might be the second best
