Rules

Due Dates:
• Verses are due FRIDAY by 11:59 PM PST.
• Voting ends MONDAY ideally
• Battles that lack votes may close later.
• One sided battles may get closed early.
• Extensions are 24 hours, anything longer is a DQ and/or Double DQ
• To avoid issues, you are encouraged to PM me your verse in advance

Line Limit:
• Min. = 10 lines
• Max. = 20 lines
• The max. can be higher if different is agreed upon by both.

Voting:
• I do not have time to count links, and I know nobody wants to post them because it’s tedious. Do your part and vote or I’m making house calls.

General Rules:
• 1st person to post can't edit after the 2nd person posts.
• 2nd person to post can't edit after a vote has been made.
• Feeding = DQ.
• Recycling = DQ.
• Biting = DQ.
• No freeposting, swaying or bitching.
• Unless a picture battle is agreed upon,

• A check in isn't mandatory, but it is encouraged.

This is cool. I guess my only qualm is that "magnetizer" essentially means the same thing in both interpretations of the double entendre 8/10

Also cool. Wp and execution all pass the test even though I think I've seen the wp more than once before, it's just missing some kind of x-factor that really lands in haymaker territory for me 8/10

Eh nah I'm not really feeling this one so much, falls a bit on the simplistic spectrum and felt like a bit of a step down from your other bars. 7/10

This is really creative, the execution is well done and I like the wording. There's just something about it that doesn't quite feel like a total haymaker, but technically it ticks all the marks. I guess I'm just not a fan of aliasing coffins/graves as squares. This was still a pretty strong punch. 8.5/10

Ship/championship concepts have been done before, just as the letter concept has been. I appreciate that this is a new and more modern angle but I don't think there's enough here to make it feel fresh. 7/10

Nah I'm not really feeling this. Maybe I just don't understand the bar, since I'm not sure who/what the twist is supposed to be. My best guess is it has something to do with the oliver twist remake but I'm not sure where the tie-in is. Unless it's even more simple than that and you're just talking about the twist in any plot, at which case yeah this is a miss for me. Either way, 6/10

Overall, I think the biggest setback to Aura's verse was that a number of his phonetic wordplays were forced, which I'm really not a fan of. Otherwise, he was fairly consistent and I think if he raise his standards for himself with regard to what kinds of wps he's dropping, he can be a beast. INF's verse felt more safe, and even though I did think it have some weak points, I think he was able to very narrowly edge this out. LOTB was definitely square space by a fairly comfortable margin, arguably it should be a 9/10 bar. Either way, it made a considerable difference in the outcome of this battle.

Overall MVGT - Inf

I liked Auras opener. Demagnetizes was nice too. Some wps were iffy. Couple lines felt light as worded. Square space, CrossFit, & pec bounce won this for INF. Good battle from both.

I thought both of these verses were pretty forced. Had to read Answers breakdown to actually understand some of them. But I think Inf was a little more coherent alot of Auras wordplays didnt really work for me.

I like the wordplay on pleths opener but I thought it didn't hit that hard..seems like in ended lazy...the bomb line was a miss for me...I like booyaks but seemed forced..still ok tho..but off was alright .closer was cool..overall it was a okay verse.mive def seem way better from pleth but it was still alright..jabs thru out.. infs opener I was feeling... Wasn't crazy hard but it hit..crossfit hit too.. not really a Haymarket but def a cool bar..fat bitchrs n gym bars were a miss for me.. I thought the ship line was decent...overall just a stronger verse than pleths.. u had a few decent hits and a miss or two..cool verse . VOTE INF

cool battle overall, close misses from both. squarespace is LOTB I'm going with INF for a more consistent verse. if Aura is plethora I remember seeing a lot of dope stuff from him. joaquin line was really funny to me. close match.
