Rules

Due Dates:
• Verses are due FRIDAY by 11:59 PM PST.
• Voting ends MONDAY ideally
• Battles that lack votes may close later.
• One sided battles may get closed early.
• Extensions are 24 hours, anything longer is a DQ and/or Double DQ
• To avoid issues, you are encouraged to PM me your verse in advance

Line Limit:
• Min. = 14 lines
• Max. = 20 lines
• The max. can be higher if different is agreed upon by both.

Voting:
• I do not have time to count links, and I know nobody wants to post them because it’s tedious. Do your part and vote or I’m making house calls.

General Rules:
• 1st person to post can't edit after the 2nd person posts.
• 2nd person to post can't edit after a vote has been made.
• Feeding = DQ.
• Recycling = DQ.
• Biting = DQ.
• No freeposting, swaying or bitching.
• Unless a picture battle is agreed upon,
linking to your opponent's picture or posting it
means you will disqualified.
• A check in isn't mandatory, but it is encouraged.
• If your opponent doesn't check in,
you still have to post a verse.
• Competitors should agree on a line limit in their check in.
• If no line limit is agreed on, then the 2nd person to post
must match the 1st person's line amount.

Damn rough battle to vote on here and not because of how good each battler did. What happen here guys? With flow calling him old or ol so many times I thought he was on a farm. And destroyer with the expected Lars tie ins was just Elementary. Look I get it you probably both would win against me. So me making a joke about it may not make much sense but this just wasnt good and I couldnt help it.

The 2 bars above are imo the best from both. If this were a 1-2 battle and it was a judge between just those bars this would go to des cool current event creative concept and pretty cool wordplay. But this isn't and as a whole and not by much at all Flows was better. While his concepts of old this/your dead kid that were light jabs. Felt like they still were overall better than whatever des was trying to put together there. No offense just 100 percent the worst des verse I've ever seen. Vote - Flow

I liked the verse overall, but the old theme got tired fast. I would've slightly reworded the dead weight & not workin punchlines, went elsewhere with text game board & golden years concepts, got rid of plagues, and made fire concepts your opener.

So this is a close one, opposite the voting so far. I thought Des had some good concepts per usual, but slipped up on the wording/execution here & there.. those little tweaks that're the difference between a jab & a haymaker. Overall, a consistent verse w/ ups that balanced the downs. Flow started off really slow.. I basically thought Des was going to run away w/ it as I wasn't feeling his first 4 bars, at all. The Ouch line was funny, but delivered kinda haphazardly, imho. Halfway through his verse, he picked up steam & started landing some big shots, finishing strong; that closer was probably LOTB. As much as it pains me to vote against Des, I have to keep it a buck & go w/ who I felt landed the heavier shots.. despite this one being very, very close. It comes down to quotables as you both had 4 misses & I think Flow was more effective w/ his lines that hit

Got it 3-3. Des has his opener, efflorescence, and flowcharted. Flow had mark on life, plagues, and his closer. Light scrap. I think Des misses were worse than Flows. Wish glow would have cleaned up the ouch punch. Could have been a banger. But I think flow had the better verse.
