Week One: Adverse vs. Letterman - LET WINS
 

Rules

Due Dates:
• Verses are due Wednesday by 11:59 PM PST.
• Goal is for voting to end Saturdays
• Battles that lack votes may close later.
• One sided battles may get closed early.
• Extensions are 24 hours, anything longer is a DQ and/or Double DQ
• To avoid issues, you are encouraged to PM me your verse in advance


Line Limit:
• Min. = 10 lines
• Max. = 20 lines
• The max. can be higher if different is agreed upon by both.


Voting:
• I do not have time to count links, and I know nobody wants to post them because it’s tedious. Do your part and vote or I’m making house calls.

General Rules:
• 1st person to post can't edit after the 2nd person posts.
• 2nd person to post can't edit after a vote has been made.
• Feeding = DQ.
• Recycling = DQ.
• Biting = DQ.
• No freeposting, swaying or bitching.
• Unless a picture battle is agreed upon,
linking to your opponent's picture or posting it
means you will disqualified.
• A check in isn't mandatory, but it is encouraged.
• If your opponent doesn't check in,
you still have to post a verse.
• Competitors should agree on a line limit in their check in.
• If no line limit is agreed on, then the 2nd person to post
must match the 1st person's line amount.

Tbh I wasn’t feeling adverse verse as a whole. He had soem good lines, I think his opener was his best line but I’m sure that’s been used tons of times against letterman. Any way still a good punch. He stumbled with his wording on a lot of his lines which took away. Letterman was more compact and seemed to keep it more consistent than adverse. Honestly letter had a couple of lines I thought where dope, cheap shit, pop up on site I thought where clever as fuck. Good battle but I got letterman.


Letter

Letterman jacket I've seen done on him and it's wasn't one of the better ones
I thought the halloreen line was nice..but could have been worded better to pack alot more sting..I was feeling the wordplay tho..
Book fair didn't hit
Random was to wordy n stretched out
Llama was okish.. wasn't feeling the closer

Senate was cool opener..
Unwanted was good .. wasn't feeling fire in eyes
Cheap shit was alright.. the rest was ok

Vote Letterman ...I thought it was close as fuck but letter was slightly more consistent with his hits... N his misses weren't as bad.. not a bad battle at all tho

Cool verse... the ransome note line was ok could've been cleaned up... letterman next guest same thing.. rest was aight

Letterman:

unwanted ad was cool, fire in his eyes was cute, dollar line was coool.. the rest was aight.

Adverse: Hallorann, Ransom Note cool idea needed revisions in the wording. Letterman/guest too obv a concept, same as opener. Feeding a lama nah.

Letterman was more consistent here. Hit slightly harder bar for bar. Lots of decent hits, less misses. Unwanted Ad, opener.
