to begin with, the word contagion would be spoken as con tay gin

the n and t separating phonetically doesn't exist regardless of accent so it's forced. Even if you have an accent that doesn't deliver the t sharp and hard, it isn't where you break the pronunciation.

it's a cool idea though, good personal and relevant event. But it doesn't work

Des had a really modern punch with a nice technology nameplay. Good personal because it's so damn true.

Barc - i disagree with Seth on this one... The wordplay was clearly designed to be used in slang, and in slang I don't think it's forced at all....I think it's pretty clever and a funny personal with the current state of the world / old ppl dying from the virus

Des I liked the concept but it just wasn't delivered that great, felt like a stretch to get to the punch. But was good overall.

Barc First line seemed so forced, "hide gutted"... not sure if its being british or not but the cunt-aging contagion sounded fine for me. And being british I say cunt alot. Punch was good, only played aspect was the covid topic is going to get old.

I could make an argument for both, Des's bar/code scan type in was a slightly better concept but Barc put his bar together better.

I'll lean towards Barc but definitely the best battle I've voted on this week.

I got barc. The wp works for me. I thought DES could of come a little better tbh.
