i'll listen to this, I remember jay electronica was like... so many niggas was like he's so dope.. and like the fact that he vanished and didn't care made him so much more interesting... cuz he's mad old

and I remember thinking... like is he doing this because he's got a real job.. like a fucking engineer or a computer programmer and i'm making good money and I just did this as a one time thing on the side... or because so many people gave me some many hype and praised me off a few tracks... I dunno if I can live up to that so i've got writers block or whatever

for me personally if I was a well known rapper... if I released like 5 songs, made no money off of them... and jay z and the GOATS of the game were like.. hell yeah that was the SHIT

yeah I remember the Jay Electronica shit like when he first came out and was super dope or at least I thought he was.

Plus the mystique/mystery of like, dude could be huge... but instead he lives in an underground bunker and won't sign a deal haha, makes things more interesting.

Now no one knows him or remembers his shit except for people like us. It's a million years later and its very average. Not a good move.
