I started a GoFundMe to get some LifeStraws to Flint, Michigan. I read that they've declared the water safe for drinking but as you would expect tons of resident folks are skeptical of the cleanliness...raised a small amount, but I'm looking to raise enough to get LifeStraw's attention and maybe get them to match me dollar for dollar and at least provide peace of mind to the folks of Flint.

i didn't realize how serious we were taking nc's today. my bad bros

srs question though, the water is safe to drink, allegedly. i remember barry obama drank some on tv. i feel like that was awhileeeee ago though. i remember tons of donations of water and things like this over the past, what 5 years now? millions of dollars and hordes of bottled water etc. so basically, what brought this on, now? lol. when its basically over?

I dunno...this is pretty discouraging. I've been pushing this on madd Facebook pages. I'm guessing my platform is too sketchy for folks to want to donate. I'm trying to figure out how to make it seem as sincere as I intend it to be.

Like I said in the initial post, lots of people are skeptical of it being truly safe. If I can get them straws...maybe that'll help ween them back on drinking their own water

elon is trying to help out super recently, this is still a big topic because the levels of lead are still high

we need to raise money to lobby karen weaver away from whoever is paying her to keep the water dirty, that should be your 10k goal.

but make no mistake phil life straws are important because their water isn't safe to drink still, u dont want to ween them back onto their local water

its christmas time. people are broke from splurging and travel and such. also its not the crisis of the moment. we all know there is always some new crisis people pretend to care about. if it was 2014 i'm sure people would be jumping at this. also you mention the border wall, which made me want to troll you, so imagine how someone who actually supports it would take it seeing it as your first sentence lol.
