it hit xbox last week

pc today at 5 pm.

beta seems kinda wack though, not the game but the idea of it. its only from like 5 pm- 9pm tonight. then does it again thursday etc.

they got me on that preorder tho. thought i was buying in for early access basically

at least stats will carry over though.

bethesda shit the bed. i had the game pre-loaded, it unlocked at 5 pm. when 5 pm hit i opened up the bethesda launcher and watched the countdown turn to an install button. hit it, shit kind of just froze and nothing happen. so i google and see the launch wasn't until 7. i thought oh word.

then 7 rolls around, and the bethesda launcher wigged out again, restarted and it is re-downloading it. and the word is from bethesda to let it redownload lol.

so 2 and a half hours into a four hour beta, i have 5 hours left on this download that is moving at a snails pace, since the entirety of the pc people are trying to redownload it to play before the end of beta

so i guess i missed the first day? good job bethesda.

yeah amazon wont cancel my preorder i guess so figured i'd just embrace it and needed to DL a 45gb update so i gave up lol

played a bit of this today. gonna go innnnnn sat/sun tho

i think its pretty dope. but its fallout 4 for sure just minus vats. vats is just a strange auto aim pretty much that plays off a percentage based on the weapon/distance and shit. cant see myself using it, although i used it to kill a frog so i wouldn't waste ammo, but not in any actual fights

the few people i seen were just passing by doing their thing. i dont know when pvp unlocks but i kind of want to turn it off if so. when you leave the vault you hit lvl 2, and im like halfway to lvl 4 so i didn't do much. just wanted to explore the surroundings a bit and get a feel for it.

but i dig it for what it is so far

you mess with this anymore? i fuck with it. i don't understand all the hate it was/is getting. i mean i get that people wanted a brand new perfect fallout game that combines all of the best qualities from each game, where decisions matter and they can play like boobs and not have to kill stuff and etc. but i have no real problems with it so far, and i didn't like the idea of this from the jump

i have played probably 4 hours total, just solo and it feels like fallout 4 minus vats. the combat is fine, i notice nothing wrong with it at all, its the same. every location i've hit so far has been pretty cool, i dunno i dig it. i havent done any real quests though, im just building up my decent camp and trying to build a sniper rifle basically, and like fallout 4 i need shitloads of adhesive for everything, modding/repairing/crafting, so it has me fully exploring locations and shit

the only negatives are probably gonna be the other players lol, pvp unlocks at lvl 5, im lvl 7, and have run into a few people who could have tried murking me if they wanted, but like me they were just running around doing there own thing. and i helped a couple people who got murked as i was passing through spots, killing what killed them and reviving them. i don't got a mic so i can't talk though

but yea, it should be pretty solid, i went stretches without seeing others and i haven't gone far at all from the vault, and the further along you get the further spread out people are

so in summary everyone like always is being a fag about this game lol

I got red dead but im shelving it. Played an hour and its dope but i aint ready to go in on it yet.

This dont come out legit till the 14th so im tryna get on this while possible.

Also i picked against the redskins in my impossible 20 dollar to 40k parley so TAKE THAT LMAO

From the youtube clips watched, game looks trash - man. Graphics were even terrible. RED DEAD is dope, tho.

its dope, the youtube dudes are butthurt because its not what they wanted, which is a super in depth story and rpg faggotry

its basically a multiplayer shooter in a dope world enviornment with basebuilding and light survival elements, with rpg elements as well with the equipment/upgrading and shit but word

i don't understand the hate it gets, outside of people wanting another boring long isolated experience like fallout 4

But the graphics suck as well.

Word ive been playing the shit out of red dead.

My only problem with fallout 4 is i put hundreds of hours into it already and it feels as old as new vegas or 3. I also put in a bunch of time on it in VR before i mangled my knee, it was crazy and a completely different game in vr. Never realize how quickly ghouls close the distance with you or how insane it is to have mole rats disappear and pop up behind you

But word im digging 76. New quests, new enviornment new enemies etc. I view it as basically a giant dlc for 4 with multiplayer as an option

Think i can get a couple more hours in on it tomorrow, they did 1-3 yesterday i mean wtf

But yea all the kinks are getting quickly ironed out and all complaints getting addressed, bethesda aint diggin the negative feedback this got lol tryna get ahead of it and seem to be. The damage has been done tho i think

honestly i don't understand any of the hate. the only piece of criticism the beta has received that i can understand, is that its just "boring". which it definitely can be, but so was every bethesda game to me lol. this seems less boring to me because i never know when i could run into another player who might try to murk me, so its just another layer added on. i don't need bethesda's weird lifeless NPC's to give me quests, ima just grind it out anyways, hit levels to unlock perks and be doper, explore everywhere for materials to build and upgrade weapons and armor etc

i played about ten hours of the betas, the only bugs i ran into with it were occasionally the scorched enemies wouldn't be holding a gun right. like its in their hand and shooting me, but pointing behind them. i experienced next to no framerate issues, im still rocking a 980ti and like an i7 4790? i forget the cpu i got but know its an i7.

also in the 10 hours i played i got enough "atoms" to purchase all of the "microtransactions". there isn't much up there though and none of it is worth buying anyways cuz its nonsense shit like overalls, hats, and emotes. lemme cop like 1000 adhesive lol but i guess thats considered pay to win.

but yea, i dunno i've noticed this alot in the gaming world of late, if a game isn't what people wanted they trash it, most without even playing it. they just parrot youtubers. i seen it first with scum, now this. i play(ed) both and enjoy them for what they are

i didn't want a multiplayer fallout. i was against this from the start, but after playing it, i can play it like a solo fallout, so im satisfied. also if someone shoots at you they literally take like 1 percent of your health until you shoot back, so you can just pop up the social tab and block them and they disappear. but word, it has what i want at the moment, and has nowhere to go but up, so its 60 dollars well spent in my book.

i wish obsidian took over fallout. beth isnt' good at this
