this was kinda trash tbh. Too many songs that weren't really funny, cuts back and forth between songs and monologues too much, it was incredibly disappointing imo.

Sandler can be a great stand up, and at one point he was, but all that music shit has to go. Plus the more famous you are, the more crowds lower the bar for the quality of your content and are willing to laugh at anything

Sandler was never a good stand up. He was a good comedic actor tho, and his songs were great on snl when i was 7 and chris farley was dancing around dressed as a lunch lady.

Its just too cringey now honestly. Im also jaded to alot of comedy because i inundate myself with it. Constantly have comedy podcasts on and i watch specials too much, so even good ones i end up being like yea that was cool. Lol.

Its also weird hearing and knowing the process as well i think takes from it, and since alot of guys whose specials i watch i listen to weekly, their best bits ive heard them basically work out, at least the idea behind them so it isnt as fresh.
