thronebreaker/gwent/witcher heads
 

now that gwent is fully released/not in beta, its a completely different game. i loaded it up to mess with again, and its only two rows of battle instead of 3, every card was changed, all my progress was somewhat tracked, since i started out with a shitload of scraps to craft cards, but there are progression trees and everything else

so i spent awhile spending everything and building a deck, and spending reward points for doing things like opening card kegs/crafting/transmuting blah blah and i realized some shit is locked, and only unlocked by achievements in thronebreaker

thronebreaker is an rpg where the battles are done in gwent card games. so i copped it, been playing it for a bit and its dope. you unlock cards for gwent by finding them on the map and through decisions you make. you build an army basically which is a gwent type deck and upgrade your camp blah blah

basically if you dug the witcher world and gwent i'd recommend grabbing it. itll sync to your gwent account to and im pretty sure give you further rewards for gwent multiplayer/the original card game so you can flesh out the reward trees and such

i've put down red dead for now to mess with this. its more mindless and i dig it.

I think its ps4 and xbox as well. Its pretty heavy gwent/puzzle based, but its got a slick storyline with decisions that affect the world and your army

ive spent literal hours today trying to beat the final battle and failing fucking MISERABLY.

FUCKKKK this game

i was murking EVERYTHING ridiculously. in the 150's to 0. i would kill the entire opponents people and have my guys boosted beasting. literally have run into 0 problems.

but the main boss has basically an unlimited supply, if i kill them, they get replaced, if i leave them in the hopes it clogs up his side, he boosts them
