Bullshitting while my ps4 system updates..
 

So i copped the witcher expansion pass last night. Comes with both expansions. Shit was 50 percent off so i only dropped 12 and some change. Pretty decent. Stoked for more geralt

I stopped playing it because I was like “this is too big”
Now that I have a kid, I need games that involve less thought and more button smashing

Definitely does - but after the 1st - it's second nature.

I don't have children as far as I know, but this was my exact reaction to Witcher. 15 years ago, sure. Maybe even 10. But i don't have 6 hours a day to traverse this beautiful digital worldscape and immerse myself in the lore. It's not in the cards anymore. Made me sad for a second but what can you do.

Maybe one day.

literally my thoughts on video games in general......was a time when I had all the new consoles and was up on the games etc but these days sitting down and carving out even an hour block to basically achieve absolutely nothing but mind numbing entertainment is unjustifiable

it doesn't help that the games these days are so incredibly complex (as alluded to itt) that it takes hours just to learn and even get comfortable navigating or maneuvering your avatar in whatever game youre playing

Its definitely huge. And these dls i just grabbed are over 30hrs more hours accorsing to what ive read. Which equals probably close to an extra month of gameplay for me.
