aparitif

its

couches and coke. shower and soap. music and speech
living in history i've been doomed to repeat
behavior stays cyclical, for humans we are
2-fold between your attitude / who's at the bar
stupid as art in theory, keep my eulogy brief
i've built palaces and turned them into ruins in weeks
booze in his sheets, poolside suite, puking relief
ginger ale and Tullamore the new aperitif
putrid beastly hyperchondriac who's never been sicker
wasted by wicker park powdering cigarette filters
streetlight sycophantom, interactions often are strange
every moment you're talking i'm going fucking insane
dial back a bit, allow parameter change
our safety bubbles calcify like skeletal frame
we polish our cages, learn adaptable language
vomit out a person that survives this entanglement
in current affairs, lovesickness, circular phases
before returning to base for reassignment, replacement
via certain demise. perfect and graceful. eternal embrace
a couple bumps deep for reaffirming our faith
curb your enthusiasm, purge your relationships
learning to love your Self relies on learning to hate it
reserved, patient. listen closely, searching a vein
safe behind his clever ways of turning a phrase
nobody gets to nourish his anguish, bury his chains
a murder of crows casting shadows on a murderer's face
feel it burning. cold-hearted furnace encasement
i only grow fonder as it worsens with age
you're never quite as special as you often were told
i've lost myself in knowing what i should've let go
many years past i left myself on the road
Kerouac would turn his tombstone over. let it be so.

I thought this was a good read. Everything syncopated correctly, with synchronicity and proficiency. It had had good-vivid imagery, with good metaphors and similes. I enjoyed the good flow and rhyme scheme. Felt natural and well-put. I don't really see anything wrong with this piece. It's quite good, and established. This was a nice written, keep writing.

I enjoyed this piece of writing very much. When you can, may you leave feedback on 'Solemn Sun' it would be greatly appreciated. You're a gifted writer. Thank you, Dead Man.

Safe behind his clever ways of turning a phase

That was such a neatly placed line, everything rolled smoothly like usual. Always an interesting read, your shit
