Anyone here buy it? I’m thinking of starting a collection of 80’s Hip Hop. It’s the beginning of a new genre. Seems like it will have value you 20-30 years when these dudes start dying.

I owned about 5,000 LPs. Mostly Soul, Funk, Jazz and Prog Rock. I little by little sold it all. Now I have about 200 left and it's all Hip Hop and RnB that I like that comes out now. If there's an album out I like and they press it up in vinyl i'll grab it.

400 are absolute trash.

i get them for sampling purposes though but i havent been making beats for forever. so basically the 100 that are dope are random soul/jazz/gospel shits.

im trying to get like 500 more just to fill out my shelves lol. been buying random lots of 100 for 100 as filler.

but word im cool with the dude that digs for the drum broker so when he has heat i get emails and shit to buy outright which is where i get the dope shit now.

i don't have any hip hop though except rakims 18th letter.

Start looking in GOODWILLS AND THRIFT SHOPS.

I go every weekend and they always have dope ish. My boy found NWA’s first LP and an almost brand new prince album with poster and all, for 35 cents each lol.
