these threads come up regularly. but i entertain them since tastes and my rotations change.

i basically only listen to comedy podcasts

legion of skanks has been the best one for a couple years now.

i fill 40+hours a week with podcasts but ones i listen to every episode of are

legion of skanks
chip chipperson
you know what dude
real ass podcast
misery loves company
burning bridges (compoundmedia paywall)
anthony cumia show (compoundmedia paywall)
the sdr show

others which are guest dependent, meaning a guest is needed, usually a comedian unless its someone interesting

rogan
bertcast
your moms house
tigerbelly
church of whats happening now
fighter and the kid
now what with arian foster
punch drunk sports
ufc unfiltered
doug loves movies
this past weekend

and then there are a couple siriusxm radio shows i'll snag off youtube to fill time too but those are guest dependent too, jim and sam and the bonfire

i can usually salvage 40 hours out of that. the compoundmedia site has a bunch of shows so i will grab one here and there from others off that network, like in hot water etc. but i don't look for those as much as see them in the feed and if theres guests or topics im digging i grab them.

also there are probably more i'm sure i'm forgetting, thats just what im seeing in my feed at the moment as i download shit to listen to for at work today

Only ones I regularly listen to are hardcore history and one to learn Ukrainian.

Would recommend hardcore history, but it's like a 2-6 hour episode with comprehensive coverage of some historical event(s). Dope listen if you're in the mood

Consign tigerbelly and your moms podcast in uh ohs post

Otherwise I listen to h3 podcast depending on guest like those two

Every episode just how is this made and harmontown but those aren’t everyone’s cup of tea. Need some more as well so might peep something off uh ohs

Which that you posted aren’t too close to rogans and not sports related?

Nah, I only listen to the psych portion.

Like when they evaluate the mind and behaviors of the serial killer and shit. It’s interesting.

bleak 08-01-2018 01:00 PM

There this show on Netflix about the origin of the term serial killer, can't remember the name of it but it's good shit. Fiction, but close inline with what the FBI was doing and the characcters are great

Your moms house & fighter and the kid have been falling off lately...

Rogan is definitely guest dependent but usually a good listen.

The Church of What's Happening Now has some classics, most are annoying once Joey gets TOO high.

I saw Theo Von live not too long ago, so This Past Weekend is my current favorite.

nod to tigerbeller and punchdrunk sports

uh-oh 08-01-2018 05:57 PM

its really all about the guests. your moms house and tfatk are still dope if they have a good guest, but just by themselves its a hard pass. this past weekend has gotten more play for me since he started getting guests as well

i can't do the one guy rambling into a mic podcasts. i love bill burr as a comic, and a guest on other peoples podcasts, but i can't listen to him just ranting for more than 5 minutes. i can only commiserate with him when his personality is bashing off someone elses
