You don’t want to say anymore, or you just don’t know anymore?

What a joke.

uh-oh 05-18-2018 06:36 PM

lol of course its australia.

but it is impossible to go back in time. i wish people were more scientifically literate.

GUDELJ 05-18-2018 09:42 PM

Time travel is difficult because the Earth is not only in a different position in space, but also it's continually moving. A successful time jump could land you in outer space.

True shit.

I Time traveled last night
Just got here.

uh-oh 05-19-2018 07:14 AM

im pretty sure in my stoned science classes aka youtube documentaries and random articles, its impossible to go backwards in time, but you can go forwards in time. like basically time reacts differently at different speeds, so if you were going a bajillion miles per hour through space, and to you, 1 day passed, and then you came back at the same speed it could be like 237 years actually happened on earth, but you only experienced 2 days

or something

Geno 05-19-2018 07:20 AM

That space travel. Time just ages people quicker on earth then space for some reason i think is the deal. So 1 week in space ...come back and people aged like 6 months on earth. Could be wrong but if i remember right ya.

The difference isn't noticeable though — after spending six months on the ISS, astronauts have aged about 0.005 seconds less than the rest of us. That means when astronaut Scott Kelly gets back from his year-long stay on the ISS, he'll technically be 0.01 second younger than his twin brother Mark Kelly who stayed on Earth.
I think time dilation's a myth. A lot of factors involved such as gravitational pull and speeds of the rocket spaceship can be up to if not more then 5 miles per second.

Who knows tho. There are many theories on the subject lol.

uh-oh 05-19-2018 12:32 PM

im pretty sure it has to do with the speed of the space station though

id have to look into it, but its not space itself its the speed at which you move through time and space itself, in comparison to earth

but word basically the only reason i have that in my head is because its basically impossible scientifically to go BACK in time, but you could go forward, based on the laws of physics and all that. so if we created a time machine i couldn't go to ancient rome or egypt or some shit, but i could go to the future, and it has to do with the speed you travel through space or some goofy shit, because you can cross vast distances in a time thats perceivably short, but upon returning alot of time will have passed.
