I enjoy history and when you incorporate some fictional twists and a little supernatural background, I'm all in.

That is The Terror on AMC. It will be based on a true story but supernaturally fabricated for entertainment. I haven't read the book by Dan Simmons but I want to now.

I wonder what the monster will look like? I hope it a muthafucking Kracken.

Anyone else peep the show or have thoughts about the book?

Fell asleep last sunday during the premiere.

Thought it would be a little more entertaining then it was. Drawn out, IMO. Put me right to sleep after watching the Walking Dead.

Maybe it's because I couldn't go back to back with slow moving shit - I'll try and give it another go, tho.

Completely understandable. That is 2 hours of dialogue with 15-20 minutes of action. LOL. Plus there weren't any classic Negan one-liners.

"You're a goddamn psychopath!" or "Don't you touch her!" I know he's a villain but that MF be having me dying

I suggest checking it out again if you are into shit like this. It will be worth the investment.
