Man i smashed my melon like a week and a half ago and mangled my neck
Like the middle back left side of my neck has been fucked since. If i move left tor right right to left its stiff and feels like its almost got TORSION or something. In the sense that if i lean my head wrong while turnin something will snap Ive concinced myself i broke my neck and am holding my head together through sheer will and determination But lets say i didnt break it. Any tips on how to feel normal again It was like a compression type injury, i ducked to run under a garage door but came up to soon and crunched my shit Im getting old. |
Legit, at your age about to be 30 you need to be careful with any and all neck and head injuries. I wouldn't worry too much, like you gon die or anything. But we don't have super healing powers like we did when we were 18. At least get it checked if you got insurance. If you still ain't got insurance give it another few days. But for real, anything over like a week with ibuprofen not fucking with it ain't normal. Lol you prolly already fucked up if you still ain't right after a head knock, man.

Lol. U prolly.just sprained or pulled something. I.do.this from time.to.time. just takes a bit but it will repair itself. Avoid sudden or sharp twists and turns..give it some more time.

Buy some anti inflammatry cream for the area an some pain killers. No sharp movements but make sure you do keep moving it an slowly challanging it. Give it a week. If nothings decreased to.the point you can move normally with only slighest pain go docs.

But since u won't and we have no possible way of knowing what's wrong........ice for the first 48hrs after injury 20min on then 20min off for as many times a day as u can.....then after 48hrs u want heat. Hot shower or water bottle filled w hot water or hot wash cloth or heating pad etc.....again about 15-20min This is an antidote for muscle strain so if it's something else this may or may not make it worse...lol....which is why u go to the Dr instead of netcees disc section But yakno |

Meninjitus. Which really isnt funny. Cause my brother almost died from that shit before he turned 1. The meds made him go deaf. He had to learn to walk and talk as he was alrdy talking and super smart and advanced for being almost one. It was devastating. My legit brother that is. in philly.

i literally sprained my MCL a few weeks ago and if i attempted to stretch that motherfucker my leg would have fallen off for the first week. i could barely walk. it's been three weeks now and it's still tweaked.
rest, ice, compression, elevation is the way to go as mentioned, for the first week at least, ice is less important after the initial three or four days unless you need to numb it -- after that begin focusing on the range of motion/mobility (gently) to see how crippled you are. anti-inflammatory shit is sound (gels over tablets because target area) but they're mostly just cope. the real tip is - if you don't want to seek medical advice - google fu that shit and don't ask anyone here. you'll have morons telling you to stretch a fresh injury. also, i know uh-oh is a self-destructive mongrel but allow this 'at your age' bullshit you motherfuckers. late 20's is generally a man's prime. |
