Dude is technically a comedian and I believe he began his career as a writer for an advertising firm who was involved in making commercials. Or some bullshit like that. Long story short he knows how to market a product. It just so happens that in this instance the product is himself. It's all a gimmick. Classic Slim Shady shtick to the max, but with less violence and more comedy relief. With that said, I have never listen to a single song of his independent of visual aid. But I've definitely watched a handful of his videos.

Gotta give dude props though. He can write a hook and his flow can get nut nuts.
