The Premier Text Battling Tournament

Rules

Due Dates:

Verses are due TUESDAY,
Voting ends FRIDAY,
Battles that lack votes may close later.

One sided battles may get closed early.

Extensions are normally 24 hours
(unless requested otherwise, that is),
can be no longer than 48 hours
and have to be granted by your opponent.

Line Limit:

Min. = 10 lines
Max. = 30 lines
The max. can be higher if different is agreed upon by both. If no line agreement is made you CANNOT go above 24 lines

General Rules:

1st person to post can't edit after the 2nd person posts.
2nd person to post can't edit after a vote has been made.
Feeding = DQ.
Recycling = DQ.
Biting = DQ.
No freeposting, swaying or bitching.
Unless a picture battle is agreed upon,
linking to your opponent's picture or posting it
means you will disqualified.
A check in IS mandatory -- if there's no check in by Friday, you will be replaced.
Competitors should agree on a line limit in their check in.
If no line limit is agreed on, then the 2nd person to post
must match the 1st person's line amount.

this got to be the BOTW I thought des verse was insane. ak had some crazy creative flips and good wordplays but I think the obscurity of some of the references he went with were the deciding factor against him in this one. des bars were harsh and clean. also clever without being overly complex. thought this battle was awesome tho regardless of the outcome.

cool battle. This could go either way, i think a couple of des bars would've been fire to me had i not seen them used in the past against allen. This actually made me realize how long i've fuckin known allen forreal, lol. His verse wasn't bad at all. & des is probably one of the funniest, if not the funniest Mfers on the site ,imo. So the opener actually made me laugh out loud cause of his ongoing attacks on Karp.
I did feel like as a whole & aggression that @Allen Knight had the better verse & harder hits so mvgt him. I think if the 2nd & 3rd bar was fresh to me this could go either way.

Des had that louisville line which I thought was pretty smooth for the wording.
I thought he had a dope opener as well but that fucking Owen Wilson line...nahhh

Des was solid, but other than his opener, he didn't have any stand outs.
Knight was consistent, somehow keeps writing his wordplay clean asf, the bar that won Me over was the 'saddle' joint..crazy.
