Does the government make money outside of taxes?

In any way?

I cant find shit on google other than percentages of taxes basically, (income/sales/etc)

Im just studying alexander the great again and when he came into power he abolished all taxes and was set to operate the government with "mining" and conquest. Obviously the conquest portion went exceedingly well lol

But is there like any federal business that delivers money directly to the coffers. Or is it all just privatized and taxed

Any "other monies" made are probably illegal transactions, side businesses and kick backs.
