The blood of a king spilled- People lust for these things still
And as barbaric- As it seems, deep inside it’s something that we all cherish.
Breaking barriers, gallantly galloping through the harshest courses
Where law enforcement draws first, for steering a chariot drawn by horses
I’ve walked lands where the same king would roam in; doesn’t make a difference
Staring at the tainted image, two souls who were painted different
In a world that mirrors a blistering blizzard; where loyalty’s a blessing
Wondering why, a sword can’t tell the difference between royalty & peasants
But neither can I- An on-going war doesn’t justify why we murder soldiers
Obstacles obstruct peace, but we place them ourselves assuming we’ll hurdle over
Still I stand with my hand out, regardless of being raised in a hell; I heard.
