I've been awake 22 hours solid with my wife in labour

I won't bore you with detail but it was a little girl, weighing just 5 pound 6 ounces

the most memorable moment of my life without question

so surreal

it still hasn't really sunk in but I feel like one of the most blessed people on the planet right now

truly the biggest game changer I can ever imagine

still can't quite believe it

it's 2am here and I'm in a taxi on the way home, wifey and baby are laid up in hospital for a couple days to recouperate

That's a very little baby lol don't worry, the small ones are the cutest. I was only 4 pound 14 ounces. She'll double her weight in no time. Hope you're all doing well and the wifey is getting as much rest as possible. Are they keeping her for two days? I think that's standard procedure for a first time mother.
