Pleasantly amused, I felt the room was full of love
But it grew dim, & now I could take a swim in this pool of blood
I memorized the cards that you gave, I was lost in the game
Figured it was curiosity and not deceit that I saw in your face
I was sadly mistaken- My flawless heart's blemished with pain
The thoughts of calling your bluff are now replenished by rage
It was a pastime we all admired, we were longing for more
