If I upgrade us to VB4 so I can finally stop the spam problem and re-open registration are you all going to abandon the site?

The upgrade is not the issue.

Upgrading to VB4 caused a lot of problems on PR because people couldn't adjust to the new vb forum style.

RM didn't upgrade to VB4, they switched to Xenforo. Completely different forum software.

And no, there is no rollback.

there is no translating ncs 2009-2012 skin to 4. closest thing would be when i tried to shoehorn the old vb3 pr skin into pr vb4.

the vb3 modern skins would translate well though (e.g. ncs 2013 default, blue dream, etc. which is what i use anyway)
